I would never even consider doing business with this shop. Unless you enjoy being insulted and otherwise made to feel uncomfortable, give this place a pass. I was informed that, and I quote “Only homosexuals and retards carry Glocks.” When I asked if they had a shoulder holster for a G21. This is the kind of crap that gives gun owners and shooters in general a bad name. I prefer to deal with local retailers whenever possible. In this case I spent my $150 at Midway.
I live next to this place and have stopped in a few times. I will never give them a dollar of my money, that’s for sure. The attitude of everyone working is superior and condescending from what I’ve seen. They have a great supply of long guns, all overpriced. Their ammunition is wildly overpriced: $100 for a brick of Remington Thunderbolts, for example. “We’ve got lots of .22 ammo,” the guy at the counter said smugly, “it’s all $100 a brick.” Thanks for contributing to the “shortage” you bums. I walked out for the last time. I would love to support a local business and to have a neighborhood gun shop, but these guys are just pathetic. The previous reviewer is also not the first person to mention blatant homophobic and/or racist remarks from the proprietors, which I don’t have any use for.
